79^th Independence Day was celebrated with the great pride and enthusiasm on 15th August 2025 at J.J. College of Nursing. It potrays the theme “Naya Bharat” which defines honouring freedom inspiring the future. The Event began with the Tamilthai Vazthu at 9:00 a.m. in the college campus, to honour the spirit of our Nations pride and freedom. It was commanded with the flag hosting ceremony by the Principal followed by the flag song.

Rajesh T from 2^nd year B.Sc Nursing delivered that pledge, then the Independence Day speech was delivered by Rasheetha R from 2^nd year B.Sc Nursing and Gokulakrishnan V from 1^st year B.Sc Nursing.

The Principal delivered an inspiring speech, Rajeshwari P from 1^st year B.Sc Nursing. sang the Independence Day poem. Finally the celebration was concluded with National Anthem at 09.50 a.m. followed by the sweet distribution to all the participants and attendees. The event instilled a deep sense of patriotism among the students.
