The Nurses Day Celebration was organized successfully in our institution on 12.05.2026 with great enthusiasm and active participation from Students, Faculty members, and Staffs.

The Programme commenced with Tamilthai Vazhthu followed by the welcome address delivered by Mr. S. Hegal Raj B.Sc (N) III year student. Various entertaining and informative activities such as Quiz and Dumb Charades were conducted, which created excitement and encouraged active student participation.

As part of the Nurses Day celebration, several Sports and Literary competitions were also organized for students. Outdoor sports events included 100 meter Running Race, 200 meter Running Race, Discus Throw, and Shot Put competitions. Indoor competitions such as Chess, Drawing, and Poem Writing were also conducted successfully. Students actively participated in all events with great enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and creativity.

The highlight of the Programme was the presence of our esteemed Chief Guest, Mrs. Jaya Susana P, Nursing Superintendent, Kauvery Hospital Heart City, Tiruchirappalli. Madam delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing the importance of compassion, dedication, professionalism, and ethical values in the nursing profession. Her valuable guidance and sharing of professional experiences motivated all the students and faculty members.

Following the Chief Guest Address, Certificates were distributed to the winners of various competitions conducted during the Programme. The event concluded with the Vote of thanks by Mr. V.Gokulakrishnan B.Sc (N) II year Student. The Nurses Day Celebration was informative, enjoyable, and memorable for everyone present.
